Multispecialty groups have emerged as a proven approach to better patient outcomes while creating cost efficiencies for providers. This session will explore the benefits of developing and optimizing a multispecialty practice, from coordinated care pathways and shared resources to enhanced patient access and improved quality metrics. Attendees will gain insight into strategies that support clinical collaboration across specialties and streamline operations to drive both savings and sustainability.
-
This panel will bring together experts in health economics and clinical wound management to explore how expanding access to care and strengthening patient resources can transform outcomes. The discussion will highlight the interplay between wound care costs and comorbidities, examine the systemic barriers patients face in receiving comprehensive treatment, and showcase models of care that have successfully reduced costs through early intervention and improved patient support.

Speaker: Dr. Andrew Pavelescu
Title: From Trial to Treatment: STABLECAMP’s Role in Modernizing Wound Care through a Modified Multi-Platform RCT"
The STABLECAMP trial is a multicenter, prospective, randomized controlled study evaluating the treatment of non-healing diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) and venous leg ulcers (VLUs). STABLECAMP uses a modified multi-platform (Matriarch) design to compare the results of treating these wounds through standard of care (SOC) combined with multiple cellular, acellular, and matrix-like products (CAMPs) versus SOC alone. This adaptive platform enables comparative analysis across diverse graft technologies and supports the inclusion of additional CAMPs over time.
Speaker: Dr. Neil Sandhu
Title: Amnio Tri-Core Graft Enhances Post-Mohs Wound Healing: A Retrospective Analysis in Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Patients
Retrospective analysis reveals Amnio Tri-Core graft accelerates healing after Mohs surgery, with biologic mechanisms supporting tissue regeneration and infection control.
